Our core competencies include the planning, construction, and installation of separator systems for hazardous media. This service requires special knowledge if the process engineering and legal requirements are to be met in a cost-oriented manner.
As a specialist in the German Water Management Act (Wasserhaushaltsgesetz, or WHG), we provide comprehensive support for your company, from preliminary planning to acceptance. This includes the manufacture of separators, shafts, troughs, and surfaces with building authority approval for the collection of water-contaminating liquids. Fast and inexpensive renovation with approved, proven sealing and joint systems or GRP chambers in accordance with regulations.
Gasoline separators (Class II) and coalescence separators (Class I)
In the flow direction, separators for mineral light liquids according to DIN 1999-100/EN 858, Parts 1 and 2 consist of the sludge trap, oil separator or gasoline separator, coalescence separator, and sampling chamber functional areas.
In the oil separator or gasoline separator, the mineral light materials separate from the waste water due to their lower density and rise to the surface, where they form a floating layer which must be removed professionally at the appropriate filling level. In coalescence separators, small oil droplets that are not separated are also deposited on an oil-friendly carrier material and combine to form a large oil droplet (coalescence). This droplet dissolves, floats, and can therefore be separated.
A sludge trap is placed upstream of the oil or gasoline separator. Solids in the wastewater such as sand and sludge collect in the trap.
We provide you with all necessary official documentation for the general inspections required by law, including the leakage test, which should take place every five years (in water protection areas, every two and a half years).
We offer the following deliverables:
- Training (with certificate), instruction in operation and functioning of the system on site
- Monthly and semi-annual review including maintenance of your operating log
- Performance of general inspection, including renovation proposals for leak testing, disposal, and documentation
- Maintenance of the entire system
- Design calculations and project planning for annexes and new buildings
- Initial commissioning and acceptance of all existing systems
