In the first week of April, our company was audited and successfully certified by TÜV Rheinland and the Occupational Safety, Quality and Environmental Protection Department for various aspects.
After having been re-certified according to the quality management standard ISO 9001 at the same time, we now also successfully introduced the environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001 in our company.
In contrast to ISO 9001, which focuses on product and service quality, environmental management relates to the company and its impact on the environment. Environmental management defines criteria for an efficient and effective system. It provides a framework that helps companies assess all significant environmental impacts, develop an environmental policy specifically tailored to the company, and systematically build and put into practice its environmental management.
The reason why we wanted to be certified to ISO 14001 is therefore obvious: climate protection is here to stay. Man has interfered with nature too much and too often, sometimes causing irreparable damage. With the certification, we prove that we always act economically sustainable and do not harm nature in any way or drastically interfere with the natural cycle. With our techniques and expertise, we know how to harmonize environmental protection and economy.
We have now proven this in our audit. Göhler GmbH & Co. KG Anlagentechnik not only complies with the legal requirements. We also prove that we pay attention to our ecological footprint. It is our social obligation to protect our environment and to use natural resources sparingly.
We are committed to environmental protection and will take every possible measure in our daily work to counteract climate change. We strive for permanent improvement of our environmental performance and thus for a responsible use of resources and environmental protection. Responsibility towards people and nature is an integral part of our corporate philosophy.
